Give Back Initiative
"When someone is brave enough to ask for help, it’s on those who hear to respond in kind."
There are times when circumstances align in a way that leaves people in an unfair, difficult, or deeply stressful position. Through our Give Back initiative, we provide professional assistance on select matters at a discounted rate or, where appropriate, on a pro bono basis.
This initiative exists for one simple reason: access to experienced, independent advice should not be out of reach when it matters most.
Why We Give Back
We work in an industry where the consequences of inaction, delay, or imbalance can be significant. In some situations, individuals or families may find themselves facing technical, construction, or procedural challenges without the means to properly respond.
The Give Back initiative is our way of ensuring that genuine need is met with genuine effort, not indifference.
It reflects our belief that professionalism and empathy are not mutually exclusive.
What the Initiative Covers
The Give Back initiative is not a blanket offering, nor is it a replacement for our standard professional services. Instead, it is reserved for select matters where:

-
Circumstances have clearly placed a party at a disadvantage
-
The need for independent, professional input is evident
-
Assistance may materially help clarify, progress, or resolve the situation
Support may take the form of:
-
Reduced professional fees
-
Capped scopes of work
-
Pro bono assistance for defined elements of a matter

Each matter is considered on its own merits.
How Matters Are Considered
All requests under the Give Back initiative are assessed individually. We take into account the nature of the issue, the surrounding circumstances, and the extent to which our involvement can make a meaningful difference.
While we are not able to assist in every case, every genuine enquiry is treated with respect, discretion, and care.
A Measured Commitment
The Give Back initiative sits alongside our core professional obligations. It is structured to ensure that the same standards of independence, care, and diligence apply, regardless of fee arrangement.
Because of this, availability under the initiative is limited and offered where it can be responsibly sustained.
Asking for Help
Reaching out can be difficult, particularly when someone already feels overwhelmed or unheard.
If you believe your circumstances align with the intent of this initiative, we encourage you to contact us and outline your situation. There is no obligation, and making an enquiry does not commit you to proceeding.
Sometimes, the first step forward is simply being heard.
